Holy Yoga for Your Bad Day

Flow Description

This super gentle yoga practice is designed for those days your body, heart, and soul need an extra measure of grace. Whether you’ve had a bad day or you’re in the middle of a really heavy season, this yoga practice will feel like a breath of fresh air. We’ll dig into a passage from C.S. Lewis’ book, The Great Divorce, for some perspective and encouragement as well as a quote by Brene Brown to help us throw off unreal expectations for ourselves. Move with ease, connect with God, and be nourished body + heart + soul.

Scriptures

“Without oxen a stable stays clean, but you need a strong ox for a large harvest.” {Proverbs 14:4}

Prayer

God, we want to encounter you on our mats today. Meet us in the middle of our heavy hearts and weary bodies. Holy Spirit, will you give us the perspective of heaven to see where You are in all of this? Will you give us peace, trusting that you are in this too right here with us? Jesus, come, and thank you. Amen.
